The trade sales kit: a booking page for firms without a website, and how to sell roof reports

A branded sample report, sales copy you can send today, and an optional booking page under your own name — useful if you do not have a website yet, and entirely optional if you do.

Having the software is one thing; getting the first few customers to say yes is another. The sales kit in your trade dashboard exists for that second problem. It is a small set of things you can use the same afternoon you sign up.

A branded sample report

One click produces a complete example report as a PDF, carrying your logo, your brand colour and your contact details — a real survey layout with defects circled, described and graded. It is the single most useful thing to have on your phone when a customer asks what they actually get for the money.

Ready-made sales copy

  • An email to send to past customers, explaining drone surveys and what the report contains.
  • A short WhatsApp or text message for enquiries and follow-ups.
  • A Facebook or social post for after a storm, when people are already looking up at their roofs.

Each one is pre-filled with your company name and your booking link, and copies to the clipboard in one tap. Edit them to sound like you — they are a starting point, not a script.

The booking page — optional, and best if you have no website

Every trade account gets a private booking link. It opens a simple enquiry page in your company name where a customer can request a survey; the enquiry lands on your dashboard and in your inbox. Nothing on it mentions AyeInspect.

This is genuinely optional. It exists for firms that are getting started, work mainly from Facebook and word of mouth, and have no website to send people to — instead of losing the enquiry, you have somewhere to point it. If you already have a website, you almost certainly do not need it.

The booking page is a convenience, not a replacement. All the usual white-label routes are still there: your logo and colours on every report, reports served from your own report domain, client emails sent in your name, and your existing website and enquiry forms feeding into the same account.

Where it fits alongside the rest

Most trade accounts use a mix: their own site and quoting process for the sale, the sample report to close it, on-site capture on the phone to take the photos, and a white-labelled report emailed from their own brand at the end. The booking link is simply one more door into that process for the enquiries that would otherwise end up in a Facebook message you forget to answer.

Finding it

The sales kit lives in your trade dashboard once your company details and branding are set up. Set the logo and brand colour first — everything the kit produces uses them.
