A slipped slate is a £120 job. The same slipped slate, left through two Scottish winters, becomes a soaked sarking board, a stained ceiling and a four-figure bill. Almost every expensive roof repair we photograph started as something small and cheap that nobody was looking for. RoofCare Annual exists to make sure somebody is looking.
An add-on, not a way in
RoofCare is only available once we have surveyed your roof. That is deliberate. The £99 survey sets the photographic baseline that everything else is measured against, and it means nobody can use the plan as a cheaper route to a first inspection. When your report lands, it carries a RoofCare button — one tap and you are on the plan.
What you get for £79 a year
- One full drone roof survey on each anniversary, booked at a time that suits you.
- Your condition tracked over time, so you can see exactly what has changed since last year.
- Priority booking ahead of one-off inspections during busy post-storm weeks.
- A storm check-in: after a named storm affects your postcode, we get in touch.
- A private RoofCare portal holding every report you have ever had, in one link.
Why an annual rhythm matters in Scotland
Our weather does the damage in instalments. A winter of driven rain lifts a ridge tile a few millimetres; the next gale takes it off. Annual surveying catches movement between those two events, while the fix is still a morning's work for a local roofer. It also gives you a dated photographic history of the roof — useful for insurance, and genuinely useful when you come to sell.
Still completely impartial
AyeInspect does not carry out repair work of any kind, and we do not take referral fees from roofers. That is the whole point. When your RoofCare survey says a ridge needs re-bedding, it says so because the photographs show it — not because we are hoping to quote for the job. You take our findings to whichever roofer you choose.
