New: a redesigned report with a condition score, plus live job progress tracking

Two changes shipped this week: reports now lead with a clear A-E condition score and a priority actions list, and every job carries a live progress checklist so you always know what is next.

This week's update covers the two things people ask us about most: making the finished report easier for a client to act on, and making it obvious where a job has got to. Both are live now on every account, with nothing to switch on.

Reports now open with a condition score

Before you reach a single photograph, the report gives the headline: a roof condition score from A to E, out of 100, worked out from the number and severity of the defects found. An A means routine maintenance only; an E means serious defects that need attention now. It gives a homeowner, a landlord or a factor an instant read on the roof without needing to interpret a list of technical findings.

A condition dashboard and priority actions

  • A severity donut showing how the defects split across low, moderate, high and critical.
  • A defects-by-type breakdown, so recurring problems like guttering or flashing stand out.
  • A priority actions list: the five repairs that matter most, in order, each with the recommended fix, the elevation it sits on and the defect number to find it.
  • A contents list so a client can jump to the part of the report they care about.
  • A scope and limitations page setting out what an aerial survey can and cannot assess.
  • A QR code in the footer, so a printed or PDF copy still opens the live interactive report on a phone.
Trade accounts keep full white-label branding. Your logo, colours and contact details carry through the new layout exactly as before.

Why the redesign helps you win work

A report that leads with a score and a ranked list of repairs is much easier to quote from, and much easier for a client to say yes to. Instead of reading twenty findings and wondering which are urgent, they see the three or four that need doing and what each one costs you to put right. It also prints cleanly to A4, so it holds up as evidence in an insurance claim or a pre-purchase negotiation.

Live job progress on every survey and booking

Every job now runs through a shared nine-stage pipeline: booked, paid, scheduled, flown, analysed, reviewed, published, delivered and follow-up. The stages that can be worked out automatically are ticked for you, so a paid booking or a published report updates itself. Anything manual, like confirming you have flown the property or that the client has received the report, is a single tap on the checklist.

  • A compact progress strip on your bookings list and daily run sheet showing at a glance where each job sits.
  • A full checklist in the survey workspace with the next action always spelled out.
  • A blocked flag with a reason, for when a job is waiting on weather, access or a client reply.
  • A timeline of who moved the job forward and when.

What this means day to day

For homeowners, the report you receive is clearer and quicker to act on. For trade accounts, nothing falls through the cracks: you can see which surveys are waiting on your review, which reports have been published but not yet sent to the client, and which jobs have been sitting still for days. Every existing job has been backfilled into the pipeline, so your current work already shows the right stages.
