We have just shipped the biggest set of report upgrades since the redesign. Reports can now be downloaded as a proper PDF, shared with an insurer, builder or family member in a couple of taps, and — for repeat visits — compared against an earlier survey to show what is new, worse or fixed.
Download a clean, paginated PDF
Every published report now has a Download PDF button. One click builds an A4 document with a cover page, the condition score and priority actions, the roof overview heatmap, each annotated finding, and a scope and limitations page. The file is named automatically from the property address and date, so it is easy to find later.

Share the report in seconds
The report link now carries a share row with the options people actually use. Copy the link, send it by email with a short message, share it through WhatsApp, or print it for a posted pack. The existing QR code stays in the footer, so a printed copy still opens the live interactive report on a phone.
Compare surveys over time
If you survey the same property twice, the second report can include a Changes since your last survey section. When you publish, link the new survey to the previous one and the report automatically groups the findings into fixed, worse, new and unchanged.
- Fixed: findings from the last survey that are no longer detected.
- Worse: the same defect, now at a higher severity.
- New: defects not recorded on the previous visit.
- Unchanged: still present at the same severity.
- Then → now condition score with an up or down indicator.
The matching is done by defect category and roof area, and you can confirm or correct any pairing in the survey workspace before publishing. That makes it ideal for annual inspections, pre- and post-repair checks, or insurance reinstatement evidence.
What this means for homeowners
You can now hand a roofer or loss adjuster a PDF that prints cleanly, email the link to your insurer without explaining how to log in, and keep a copy for your own records. If you have the property re-surveyed, you get a clear before-and-after picture instead of two separate reports to compare yourself.
What this means for trade accounts
Your client reports look even more professional: your logo and colours on a downloadable PDF, a share link from your own domain, and a comparison section that helps you win repeat work by showing a landlord or factor exactly what has changed since the last visit. We have also added a small re-survey prompt to your dashboard for properties last surveyed twelve months or more ago.
