New service: commercial drone photography and video across Central Scotland

The same drone, the same pilot, a very different job. We now shoot aerial photography and video for businesses across Central Scotland — property marketing, construction progress, premises and events.

For two years our drone has done one thing: fly over Scottish roofs and photograph everything that is wrong with them. Along the way, we kept being asked the same question by the people whose properties we were surveying — could we shoot something that made the building look good instead of broken? From today, we can. AyeInspect now offers commercial drone photography and video across the same Central Scotland patch we survey.

What we shoot

  • Property marketing — estate and letting agents wanting aerial stills and a short video that shows the plot, the roofline and the surroundings, not just the front door.
  • Construction and development — monthly progress sets from a fixed set of angles, so the same view can be compared week to week for clients, funders and site records.
  • Business premises — yards, depots, hotels, farms, industrial units and forecourts photographed from above for websites, brochures and tenders.
  • Events and hospitality — weddings, festivals, openings and venue marketing, filmed from the air where the ground shot cannot do it justice.

What it costs

Indicative package pricing

PackageTypical useFrom
EssentialsOne location, edited stills, quick turnaround£149
StandardStills plus a short edited video for web and social£299
PremiumMulti-angle shoot, longer edit, extended usage£499

Every shoot is quoted properly before we fly. Access, flight permissions, the number of locations and how you want the footage delivered all change the price, so the figures above are a starting point rather than a fixed menu. Send us the details and you get a written quote with the deliverables listed.

Where we fly

Glasgow (G), Lanarkshire (ML), Edinburgh (EH), Falkirk and Stirling (FK) and Paisley and Renfrewshire (PA) — the same coverage as our roof surveys. We are based in Airdrie, so most of the Central Belt is inside an hour.

Flown legally, every time

We hold the appropriate CAA operational authorisation and insurance, we check airspace restrictions before every job, and we will tell you honestly if a location cannot be flown safely or lawfully. Near an airport, a restricted zone or a crowd, that conversation happens before you pay, not on the day.

Booking a shoot does not change what we do with roofs. Survey work stays completely separate and completely impartial — we still never quote for repairs.
