Product update: smarter AI detection, new coverage areas and less admin

Detection profiles tuned to your trade, an AI that learns from your own approvals, three new coverage areas and a pile of admin-saving tools — here is everything since the last round-up.

Our last update covered booking calendars, white-label reports and team seats. Since then the focus has moved to the part that matters most on a trade account: how accurate the damage detection is, and how little time you have to spend correcting it. Here is what has shipped.

Detection profiles tuned to your trade

A roofer, a solar installer and an insurance surveyor are not looking at the same roof in the same way. Trade accounts can now pick a detection profile — roofing, solar, insurance, estate agency, guttering and more — and the analysis changes with it. Each profile shifts what the AI prioritises and how cautious it is before flagging something. Insurance profiles, for example, deliberately surface lower-confidence findings so nothing is quietly dropped before a human sees it.

You set it once on your branding page and every survey your team runs from then on uses it.

An AI that learns from your approvals

  • Every finding you approve or reject is now remembered against your company, not thrown away.
  • Once you have reviewed enough findings, those decisions are fed back into the analysis as worked examples of what your team counts as a genuine defect.
  • The practical effect: fewer false flags on the things you always reject, and steadier detection of the things you always approve.
  • It is per-company, so your standards do not get diluted by anyone else's.

An accuracy dashboard you can actually check

Rather than asking you to take our word for it, there is now a dashboard showing precision, recall and a breakdown by defect category, filterable down to an individual trade account with its active detection profile shown alongside. If detection quality drifts on a particular type of job, it shows up as a number rather than a feeling.

Three new coverage areas

We now survey Falkirk, Stirling and Paisley alongside Glasgow, Lanarkshire and Edinburgh. Booking validates against the FK, PA, G, ML and EH postcodes we actually cover, so nobody pays for a survey we cannot fly, and each area has its own page with local pricing and turnaround.

Less admin on both sides

  • A daily run sheet showing every flight booked for the day, with addresses and slots in one place.
  • Confirm-and-notify on bookings, which sends the customer a branded confirmation with their date and AM or PM slot in one click.
  • Appointment reminders that follow the confirmed slot rather than the originally requested one.
  • A trade setup checklist that reflects what you have genuinely completed — and lets you tick items off or dismiss it entirely.
  • Support ticket counts that actually go down when tickets are resolved or closed.

Quieter work worth mentioning

We have run a deep security scan across the platform, added rate limiting and response headers where they matter, and made heavy parts of the app load only when needed so the site feels faster on a phone in a van. There is also proper analytics and a cookie consent banner, plus new guides on roof survey costs, leak detection, chimneys and flat roofs.

Nearly all of the above came from customers telling us what was slowing them down. If something on your account is more work than it should be, say so — small fixes often ship within days.
