Who is AyeInspect — and why we will never quote you for roof repairs

Every roof inspection company has an incentive. Ours is simple: we inspect, we report, and we never carry out repair work. Here is why that independence is the whole point.

Most people meet the roofing industry at its worst moment: a leak, a storm, a Home Report with a worrying line in it. And most of the time, the person who tells you what is wrong with your roof is the same person quoting to fix it. AyeInspect was built to be the exception.

One job: the truth about your roof

We fly a drone over your property and photograph every pitch, ridge, valley, chimney and gutter from above. Each defect is circled on the photograph, described in plain English and graded for severity. The report is back with you within 24 hours. That is the entire service — we do not carry out repairs, we do not take referral fees from roofers, and we do not earn more by finding more.

Why impartiality changes the report

  • A roofer''s inspection is a quote dressed up as a survey — the incentive is to find work.
  • Our report has no repair attached, so ''monitor it'' is an answer we are genuinely happy to give.
  • You take the same report to any roofer you choose and collect competing quotes against identical evidence.
  • Insurers and solicitors take independent evidence more seriously than a contractor''s estimate.

Where we work and what it costs

We cover Glasgow (G postcodes), Lanarkshire (ML), Edinburgh (EH), Falkirk (FK), Stirling and Paisley (PA). Residential surveys are a fixed £99 and commercial surveys £149 — no call-out fees, no hidden extras. You can pay by debit or credit card, PayPal, Pay by Bank, Google Pay or Klarna.

For roofers and surveyors too

The same impartiality works for the trade. Roofing companies, letting agents and surveyors use AyeInspect to produce white-labelled reports under their own brand — their logo, their colours, their own report domain — for their own clients, one credit per published report. We supply the flight, the analysis and the report system; they keep the customer relationship.

When your roof is fine, we say so — that is the report we are proudest of, because it means you paid £99 for certainty instead of thousands for a repair you never needed.
