Roof Surveys On Account: A Better Way for Estate and Letting Agents

Agents juggle dozens of properties, landlords who want evidence and tenants who need notice. Our new agency accounts let you order roof surveys in bulk, on account, with one statement at the end of the month.

If you manage property for a living, you already know the awkward conversation. A landlord asks whether the roof is really the problem. A tenant reports a damp patch on a bedroom ceiling. A vendor swears the roof was done ten years ago. And the only honest answer anyone can give is a guess, until somebody actually looks.

Getting somebody up there has always been the slow part: a roofer with a ladder who also happens to want the repair work, or scaffolding that costs more than the answer is worth. So we built something specifically for estate and letting agents.

Agency accounts: order roof surveys on account

An agency account gives your office its own ordering workspace. You order surveys the way you actually work — several properties at a time — and settle one statement at the end of the month instead of paying property by property.

Volume pricing that rewards regular ordering

Agency pricing steps down automatically as your monthly volume rises. There is no subscription, no minimum term and nothing to cancel — you pay for the surveys you order.

Why agents keep asking for this

A dated, photographic roof report settles arguments. It shows a landlord exactly what is wrong before they authorise spend, it gives a tenant confidence that the report was taken seriously, and it gives a buyer something concrete when a homebuyer report says further investigation of the roof covering is advised.

Just as importantly, we do not carry out roof repairs and never will. We have no reason to find work that is not there, which is exactly why our reports are useful when money is about to change hands.

What a survey involves for your tenants

Nobody needs to be home as long as there is a safe launch point, usually a garden or driveway. There is no ladder against the building, nobody walking across the roof and no scaffolding. The flight takes twenty to thirty minutes for a typical house, and the report follows within 24 hours as a private link you can forward.

Reports your landlords and tenants can actually read

Every elevation is photographed in high resolution, each defect is circled and graded by severity, and each one is described in plain English with a recommendation. There is a roof overview heatmap so you can see at a glance where the problems are, and a written summary of the roof overall condition you can quote directly in your correspondence.

Getting set up

Applying takes a couple of minutes on our estate and letting agents page. We confirm your office details, agree your rate and switch the account on, then your staff sign in to the agency workspace and start ordering. Survey coverage is Glasgow (G), Lanarkshire (ML), Edinburgh (EH), Falkirk and Stirling (FK1–FK9) and Paisley (PA1–PA3, PA5–PA7).

If you look after a portfolio in Central Scotland and you are tired of guessing about roofs, this was built for you.
